Embark on a humble journey with RogueVargas, a musical explorer whose creations dance between ambient, chill hop, alt-rock, and the nostalgic allure of chiptune. In the heart of these genres lies a simple narrative shaped by the twists and turns of life as experienced by me.
Life threw me into the labyrinth of Crohn's disease early on, resulting in surgeries that led to a permanent ostomy. Instead of dwelling on the weight of these challenges, I channel the experiences into melodies that reflect the humility and resilience found in life's unpredictable journey.
Armed with an electric guitar, electric bass, and a MIDI controller, I turn to Ableton as the chosen DAW to craft compositions that are more like personal reflections than grand statements. Each note speaks not of triumph over adversity, but of the simple joys found in the act of creation.
The awareness of life's fragility and the acceptance of the burdens one carries lend an earnestness to RogueVargas music.
